Let's get started

Alot of people think that to get their body toned they need to increase their reps to high, and have very little resistance with moderate to long rest periods. Well think again, and discover why this is incorrect.

Why so many people think that to in order to get toned they must do high repetitions of exercise and low resitence is a mystery (probably partly through the media), sure, there maybe a little truth there somewhere but they also don't take into account the cardiovascular activity or 'diet' in order to get 'toned'.

The CONCEPT of toning

Let's diminish the myth of 'tone' right now. The firming up or toning up is through an icrease in muscle tissue as well as having a low percentage of body fat. This is to see the definition and shape of your muscles, and get rid of the wobblyness.

Muscles do not go from soft to hard or hard to soft, they shrink or grow in size. Muscles themselves do not firm up or get 'toned', they simply grow in size and the fat around it decreases to reveal the shaped muscle.
